Shark School

Free training to stress-test your business idea, the way an investor would.

The Program

You're building something. Maybe you haven't launched yet. Maybe you have, and something isn't clicking the way you expected. Either way, you don't yet have a clear, evidence-backed answer to the question an investor will ask you in the first thirty seconds: why will this work?

Shark School gives you that answer. Twice a month from October through December, you'll sit down with Paul Silva and a room of fellow entrepreneurs and take your idea apart the way an investor would, honestly, but never harshly. We call it LovinglyCritical: the hard truths, delivered with care, because you deserve feedback that actually moves you forward instead of feedback that just stings.

How it works

Every session, you present your work live and get direct feedback, from Paul and from your fellow entrepreneurs. You do the same for them. That's not a formality, it's the core of the program. The best insight into your business often comes from someone else building theirs.

Who it's for

Entrepreneurs based in the Pioneer Valley, or actively working to do business with a cluster of Valley businesses. Whether your idea is still on paper or you've just launched, if you're ready to put in the time, this is built for you.

The commitment

Class is the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, 5–7pm, at Tech Foundry in Springfield. Outside class, plan on about 10 hours a week on your venture.

The finish line

Entrepreneurs who complete Shark School present at our Shark Tank event, in front of a panel that includes people who've invested in, run, and exited startups. Real feedback. Real relationships with local investors.

Accelerator Application Party!

January 14, 2026 | 5:30–6:30 PM

This interactive session is designed to provide live, constructive feedback on your application before the January 15 Accelerator Application deadline. Whether you have a quick question or want a second set of eyes on your full application, this space is for you!

Free.
No equity. No catch.

Applications are rolling, submit at least one week before the session you want to join. Sessions start October 1st.

Innovate413 is designed for founders who are seriously exploring whether this is the venture they want to commit to. You don’t need a perfect product. You do need a real problem, a real customer, and the willingness to engage deeply. You might be a good fit if you are:

  • Building an early-stage startup (pre-revenue through early revenue)

  • Working on your venture full-time or actively deciding whether to make that leap

  • Looking for customers, partners, and early investor relationships, not just advice

  • Ready to spend focused time actually building your business with support
